All the excursions begin at the ICC, where passengers will board the buses.
Each tour will comprise two or three stops, during which individual buildings will be inspected (wherever possible in the company of the architects). The tours will be in English, French, Spanish, Russian and German, provided there is a minimum number of participants speaking the respective language. Berlin – Count Pückler Region IBA – Berlin

Over the next ten years, the region of Lusatia will witness a whole host of activities in conjunction with the Count Pückler Region International Building Exhibition (IBA). For the first time in the history of the International Building Exhibitions the focus here is on planning and designing the countryside. Architects and employees of the Count Pückler Region IBA will be participating in this excursion.

Bauhaus I
Berlin – Dessau – Berlin

A trip to Dessau is primarily a trip to the Bauhaus, its past and its future. Architects and staff of the Stiftung Bauhaus Dessau will take part in the planned visits to the Bauhaus complex, the Master Houses and the Törten housing estate. The return journey to Berlin will include a visit to Wörlitzer Park, the centre of the Dessau-Wörlitz country park.

Florence on the Elbe

This excursion focuses on the many cityscapes that have developed and overlapped in Dresden over the past 300 years. Dresden’s status as one of the most important cities in Germany is demonstrated by its progress over time – from a Baroque town to the residential developments of the 1920s and from the rebirth of the city after the Second World War to the reconstruction projects of the 1990s.

City Tour with a Visit to the Pergamon Museum
This tour begins in the western city centre and takes in the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the Europa Center, the New National Gallery and the Philharmonic Hall before moving on to the historical city centre in the east including Alexanderplatz, Gendarmenmarkt, the Nikolai Quarter, the TV Tower, Prenzlauer Berg, the Royal Armoury, the State Opera House, the Scheunenviertel (Old Jewish Quarter), the New Synagogue, Unter den Linden boulevard and the Brandenburg Gate. The bus makes its way back via the Reichstag parliament building, the government district, Bellevue Palace, the Victory Column and Kurfürstendamm. The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Pergamon Museum with the world-famous Pergamon Altar, one of the wonders of the ancient world.

Boat Trip on the River Havel
